Graduating with distinction from the prestigious Cardiff University, Captain Uniyal specialized in maritime law. His professional repertoire encompasses a wide array of roles within the commercial shipping sector, including ship broking, ship operations, port captaincy, maritime law, and claim handling. Capt Kunal has published several research papers on Maritime trade & Maritime Law which includes his Monograph on South China Sea Dispute published by the Pondicherry University. Apart from that he regularly publishes article on Maritime Business/Maritime Law which includes Delhi Post, India-China Chronicles and Strategic Affairs.
