Sea and beyond needs no introduction in shipping industry. One of the first platforms in India which channelized the transition of sailing professional from ship to shore in a very smooth manner along with helping the candidate in contemplating various roles which would fit their prior experience. I had to leave sea very early due to my personal commitments but at the back of my mind I always had a belief that I could get shore job with the help of this platform. I have been following the company updates and Capt. Gaurav Rana Sir from last 6 Years. they aligned my resume and my interest in Shipbroking with few prospective employers and got me an opportunity to sit for an interview and I got the role with my previous experience and guidance. Sea and beyond is making the shipping fraternity tap their potential in areas which requires sailing professional having an edge over others.  I was given the phone number of Sea and Beyond by a friend who knew I was looking for a shore job. I spoke with Ms. Riya from Sea and Beyond. Her approach was very professional. She took all my details and started looking for a job that suited me. Due to my credentials of being of LPG background the jobs were few and exclusive. Therefore they were even more difficult to find. They informed me that a reputed company was looking for a  Marine Manager with my credentials. They helped me prepare for the interview, and gave me important insights. After I cleared my interview, they followed up with my employers and they did so regularly. Due to the festival season of Christmas, there was a delay between me completing my final interview and me getting the final confirmation. During this time, I had a lot of doubts and concerns. Ms. Riya had especially during that time provided me with all the necessary assurance and information. A little bit about myself, I have been in about 4 different companies and worked with 7 different clients in my career so far. This was my first experience with Sea and Beyond. I wanted to take this moment to provide some feedback about my experience.

The recruitment process took about 15 to 22 days right from the first communication about the job till I got the offer from the company. (The delay I believe was from the company's end) Throughout the process I was in touch with Tasneem who was handling my communication with the recruitment team. Her professionalism and timely communication made the process easy and transparent for me. I particularly appreciate the effort she took to connect with me. ( As I generally am not reachable on my phone due to network issues and other commitments). The details about the recruiter she provided also gave me a clear understanding and helped me a little bit prepare for the interview as well.

My experience with Ms. Riya Shetty From Sea & Beyond made me feel extremely satisfied beyond expectations. I had been looking for a shore job after becoming Chief Engineer in Merchant Navy and when I was onboard ship I contacted Ms Riya and she was keeping me updated on regular basis about all the shore job openings matching my profile, When i signed off from vessel in Last week of November 2022 as per my travel plan she arranged two interviews for me in 3 days time period and was selected for both the roles, She was very helpful and always motivated me in my journey to get my first shore job. it was the beginning of a very good experience.
