 I was given the phone number of Sea and Beyond by a friend who knew I was looking for a shore job. I spoke with Ms. Riya from Sea and Beyond. Her approach was very professional. She took all my details and started looking for a job that suited me. Due to my credentials of being of LPG background the jobs were few and exclusive. Therefore they were even more difficult to find. They informed me that a reputed company was looking for a  Marine Manager with my credentials. They helped me prepare for the interview, and gave me important insights. After I cleared my interview, they followed up with my employers and they did so regularly. Due to the festival season of Christmas, there was a delay between me completing my final interview and me getting the final confirmation. During this time, I had a lot of doubts and concerns. As a sailing seafarer since years, I had a fixed format for my CV, and it wasn't updated properly. Looking towards shore opportunities I realized the importance of having a professional CV for myself when recruiters started asking me to send them across my updated CV.

A little bit about myself, I have been in about 4 different companies and worked with 7 different clients in my career so far. This was my first experience with Sea and Beyond. I wanted to take this moment to provide some feedback about my experience.

The recruitment process took about 15 to 22 days right from the first communication about the job till I got the offer from the company. (The delay I believe was from the company's end) Throughout the process I was in touch with Tasneem who was handling my communication with the recruitment team. Her professionalism and timely communication made the process easy and transparent for me. I particularly appreciate the effort she took to connect with me. ( As I generally am not reachable on my phone due to network issues and other commitments). The details about the recruiter she provided also gave me a clear understanding and helped me a little bit prepare for the interview as well.
