Overview:
The International Group of Protection and Indemnity Clubs (IGP&I) is an association that consists of several Protection and Indemnity (P&I) clubs, providing liability cover (mainly for third party liabilities and expenses) to shipowners and operators. These clubs collectively provide marine liability cover for approximately 90% of the world's ocean-going tonnage. The group also plays a pivotal role in influencing, developing, and implementing policies related to maritime law and safety.
By now, we must have realized that IGP&I has a very significant role to play in the maritime industry and if we are not much aware about them then we are missing out something major. To help us enhance our knowledge and to introduce wider opportunities into this field, Sea and Beyond presents a video session on IGP&I “Introduction and opportunities”
This session is a general awareness session where we intend to talk about the following:
