In this course, we are preparing you for a specific subject: Hydrostatics. Being a second engineer onboard, you should be able to calculate the force exerted by water on the bulkheads to avoid the stress produced in the welding, the Force exerted by water on the dock gates, etc. You should be able to find the hydrostatic pressure at a particular depth of water. This topic has been newly added to the Management level curriculum since 2017.
