Capt. Malhotra has served at sea for almost 4 decades with in-command experience of more than 20 years. He has also served as Mooring Master for offshore industry and has been actively involved with offshore industry as far as conversion /Commissioning of offshore Platforms like FPSO & FSO in cognizance with MODU is concerned.
For the past 8 years have been practicing entrepreneurship in journalism, as far as freelance journalism is concerned and have participated in many Live debates on National television with renowned journalists & personalities
During his time at sea and mentoring scores of mariners, he found that some basic hydrodynamic concepts while being taught during various courses are
- Complex to understand
- Not easily relatable
- Refreshing of these concepts is required
Also in simulators the application of these concepts are probably shown and not the concepts as such.
Hence Capt. Puneet planned to showcase these concepts in a more:
- Simplified
- Succinct
- Relatable
manner and also in a away wherein mariners can revisit them whenever in doubt.
He has hence prepared videos on “Hydrodynamics simplified” and posted on Youtube. The concepts are easy to understand, accessible anytime from anyplace and provides 1st hand knowledge from his vast experience,The Knowledge Imparted is based on Practical & Pragmatic Experience and without any hypothesis involved as far as all the aspects of Practical ship handling and manoeuvres are concerned.
