Capt. Ashok Sharma
Managing Director,

Capt. Sharma began his sea career in 1982 as a deck cadet with Great Eastern, later becoming a Master and Operations Manager at OMI, amassing 20 years of maritime experience. Transitioning to brokerage, he has spent 21 years as a broker, including roles at Braemar Seascope, JM Baxi, and Marshall Produce Brokers. He is now the Managing Director and board member of BRS Baxi Far East Pte Ltd in Singapore, responsible for top-line and bottom-line growth and international marketing. Capt. Sharma has secured a global client base, establishing a niche in the tanker-chartering segment.




Dr. Abhay Singh Thakur
Assistant Professor, School Of Maritime Law, Policy & Administration, Gujarat Maritime University,

Dr. Abhay Singh Thakur is an Assistant Professor and Center Head at Gujarat Maritime University, specializing in Shipping Laws, Marine Environmental Law, and International Carriage Law. With over eight years in academia and industry, he has presented at international conferences and published research in SCOPUS/WOS/UGC-indexed journals. He holds a Doctorate from Gujarat National Law University and a Master’s in Law from WBNUJS, Kolkata, and is UGC-NET qualified. Dr. Thakur is frequently invited as a resource person by prestigious institutions.




Mr. Krishnan Subramaniam

Mr. Krishnan Subramaniam, International Vice Chairman of Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers , leads digital transformation and professional development initiatives and serves as a strategic advisor at Transworld Group. With over four decades of experience in the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemicals sectors across India, the Middle East, and Singapore, he has held leadership roles in marine logistics, supply chain management, and academia. His career includes significant contributions to Shell Chemicals, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (India), and Bharat Petroleum, focusing on logistics, supply chain planning, and operations management.

Mr. Vikas Gadoo, Co-founder of Integrated Maritime Exchange (IME), is a seasoned Australian-Indian IT professional with 18 years of experience in product management and development. He has held key roles at leading companies such as British Telecom, Infosys, NBN Australia, and Vocus, showcasing his expertise across diverse sectors. 

A notable achievement in his career is the patent awarded by the Indian Patent Office for his innovative mobile call drop solution, demonstrating his ability to solve real-world challenges in telecommunications.
