Capt. Sharma started his sea career in 1982 as a deck cadet with Great Eastern where he worked for 10 years before moving to OMI where he was a master and Operations manager where he worked for another 10 years. Total Experience of 20 years, and have been a broker for 21 years. Later he moved to Braemar Sea scope as a tanker broker. He then worked with JM Baxi and Marshall Produce Brokers before setting up BRS Baxi Fars East Pte Ltd. In Singapore as Managing Director and board member.
He has overall responsibility for ensuring top-line and bottom-line growth. In addition, he accepted the overall accountability for the company’s international marketing enterprises, achieving considerable market success and business growth.
He has been instrumental in securing a client base all around the world which is highly regarded within the industry and secured a niche for the company within the tanker-chartering segment.

Capt. Ashok Sharma
Managing Director,Capt.
