The webinar will be presented by Mr. Sardool Singh,Director NMIS.
Mr. Singh passed out of DMET is 1977 and has sailed for 14 years. After working as Chief Engineer he left sailing and worked ashore for 29 years in various roles. In his corporate roles, he was with Goodrich group for 13 years and rose to the ranks of President at Goodrich Asia Pacific, Malaysia. He has also worked for Accord ship management and Shreyas shipping as Technical Supt’d.
Academics has been Mr. Singh’s passion and he has worked with Institute of Marine Engineers and Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies wherein he has mentored many studies and helped them in their technical paper presentation.
About NMIS:
Set up on 3rd January 1969 under joint auspices of Ministry of Shipping and Indian Shipping Industry. The Institute is managed by representatives of D.G. Shipping, National Shipping Board, INSA, SCI, & Shipping related logistics industry
The webinar would consist of the following:
- A 30-35 minute presentation by Mr. Singh where he would discuss the above-mentioned topics based on his personal experience.
- 20-25 minutes of Q&A wherein Mr. Singh would take questions
- A quick feedback survey about the webinar
About the Speakers
Mr. Sardool Singh
Engineering Faculty at The Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies,Mr. Singh passed out of DMET is 1977 and has sailed for 14 years.
