This is for candidates who would like to be understand the insights into maritime entrepreneurship. Capt Dubey would talk about:
1. His journey into entrepreneurship of establishing 4 marine training college and would cover topics on:
a) The thought process while establishing the business.
b) The hurdles that he went through.
c) How he overcame through the hurdles.
d) The conundrum of expansion and sustenance in business.
After talking through his journey, he would talk about:
2) What a mariner needs to do when establishing the business.
3) What is the personality and sill sets required from an entrepreneur
4) How should we evaluate and then choose a field in which we have to do a business.
5) What can a mariner expect when he starts a business.
6) What are the precautions that one needs and the safeguards that should be in place
7) How much financial commitment needs to be in place while setting up a business.
8) Importance of partnership in a business and the other related fields.
9) The various business/legal/financial impacts when starting a business.
After the webinar you would understand the insights and thought process of a maritime entrepreneur & the efforts required to set up a business.
After a sailing career of 20 years on various types of vessels, Capt. Dubey stepped ashore as Nautical Officer in L.B.S. Nautical College in 1992. In 1998, Capt. Dubey along with Capt. O.P.Yadav setup MUMBAI MARITIME TRAINING INSTITUTE and later went on to expand to further open:
MMTI’S EDUCATION & RESEARCH TRUST, Khopoli (PRE SEA)
NATCOM EDUCATION & FOUNDATION, GURGAON (POST SEA)
MMTI DEHRADUN CAMPUS (POST SEA)”
