About The Center for Maritime Economics and Logistics, Erasmus University Rotterdam
The center of Maritime Economics and Logistics (MEL) is an inter-faculty unit of Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR); one of the world’s top universities, at the shipping, transport and logistics heart of Europe. The Erasmus University is consistently ranked as one of the top universities in the world by The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Times Educational Supplement, etc.
With objective to provide promising young professionals with an education and an experience that prepares them for responsible jobs within the maritime industry, MEL offers an MSc Course in Maritime Economics and Logistics; a post-graduate/post-experience international program aimed at transforming promising young professionals into tomorrow’s leaders in business and government.

Mrs. Mariem Ghoui works as Director of Admissions with Erasmus University Rotterdam. Mariem is in charge of the MSc communication and admissions. Her main responsibilities involve dealing with inquiries via email and telephone, processing applications, and communicating with the applicants regarding the outcome of the admissions process. Furthermore, she is also in charge of strategic organizational development, content communication, and partner relations.
