He is currently working as Vice President Global Operations with Aatash Norcontrol Ltd, he is an alumnus of the 50th Course of the prestigious National Defense Academy who served in the Indian Navy from 1977-1998 in Executive branch. During his career spanning over 20 years in Indian Navy, he held distinguished appointments in Directorate of Naval Plans, Naval Headquarters New Delhi, Coastguard Headquarters, New Delhi and Commands of major war vessels. From 1999 onwards, he has been serving in the port sector in the commercial side.
His prominent appointments in the port sector include Vice President (Ancillary Infrastructure) with GPPL, CNO in GMB, COO at Vizag Container Terminal Private Limited, CEO at MICT - Mundra International Container Terminal of DP World and Regional Head (QHSE&T) Indian Subcontinent, DP World.
