Capt. Mahendra Bhasin, serving as the Managing Director at MSC Crewing Services India, holds a pivotal role in the maritime industry. 2) Capt. S. M. Halbe
Capt. Halbe is the Committee Chairman of Executive MBA programme and holds the esteemed position of Chief Executive Officer at the Maritime Association of Shipowners, Ship Managers, and Agents (MASSA). Captain Halbe demonstrates unwavering dedication to advancing the interests of shipowners, ship managers, and agents, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
3) Prof. Vivekanand Khanapuri
Prof. Vivekanand Khanapuri is the Dean of Sponsored Research & Industrial Consultancy at IIM Mumbai, with over 14 years of experience at the institute. His career trajectory at IIM Mumbai showcases his dedication and expertise in fostering research and industry collaborations. Prof. Vivekanand's leadership in this role underscores his commitment to enhancing the institution's research capabilities and industry partnerships.
3)Mr. Rajeev Nayyer
A Marine Engineer from the 1983-1987 batch of DMET, he is a Fellow member and the current President of IME(I). He sailed with GESCO until attaining the rank of Chief Engineer, then joined their office in 1995. In 2000, he joined Essar for their LNG project, where he moved through various roles, including technical, new buildings, sales and purchase, quality and safety. Eventually, he began handling their oilfield business as the CEO. In November 2020, he parted ways with Essar and started working as an independent maritime consultant.
