In our attempt to further enhance your skills, Sea and Beyond is proud to present to you a webinar by Centre of Maritime Economics and Logistics, Erasmus University, Rotterdam on the M.SC Maritime Econmics and Logistics course.

It is an exclusive international program offered in Rotterdam which has an average of 16 nationalities graduating per class.

Key points covered in the webinar will be:

· Aim of the Course and it’s philosophy

· The structure of the course including Curriculum, Pedagogy, exams, attendance and internships

· Application requirements including tuition fees and living costs

This webinar is for all those who are looking to enhance his/her skill sets with focus in Shipping domain and international focus

The webinar will be presented by Ms Mariem Ghaoui,Directorof admissions, Renee Slater (Program Manager), Felicia De Jong (Course-Asstnt. Program Manager) and Capt. Abhishek Nair (Past alumn of the program)

Renee has worked at the Center for Maritime Economics and Logistics (MEL) for the past 10 years. She has worked here for so long because she finds the international environment so interesting (each year on average a MEL class consists of 16 different nationalities) and all the new people that she meets every year so inspiring and fascinating.

Felicia is responsible for all aspects of the MSc Programme including the successful organization and running of the program itself but also the external communication, Alumni Relations, the international marketing strategy, and establishing and maintaining effective relations with the (global) research and business community; especially focused on the maritime sector.

Capt. Nair has been out at sea for 16 years with the last 3 years in command of VLCC's. In 2015, he decided to pursue further education for which he chose the MEL program at Erasmus University Rotterdam and has made The Netherlands his home since. After graduating, he worked at Stolt Tankers in their chartering/trading team managing key account contracts and then eventually moving on to managing port and berth rotations for their deep-sea fleet in Northwest Europe.

The webinar would consist of the following:

· A 30-35 minute presentation by the presenters where they would discuss the above-mentioned topics.

· 20-25 minutes of Q&A with the participants

· A quick feedback survey about the webinar
